Teaching

I'm a teacher in Toronto

Ontario-certified teacher (OCT), M.Sc., B.Ed. This semester I'm teaching five courses: SCH4U Chemistry, ICS3C, ICS3U and ICS4U Computer Science, and ICD2O Digital Technology.

YouTube channels

ChemistNate → Chemistry lessons, including a long series of Lewis structure videos.

Mr Oldridge → Math lessons.

SCH4U → Grade 12 Chemistry

I've built full 15-lesson units for SCH4U, with worked examples, practice problems and answer keys:

• Organic Chemistry
• Thermochemistry & Kinetics
• Equilibrium & Acids / Bases
• Electrochemistry

Plus detailed course notes for Units 3, 4 and 5, with lessons, labs and practice problems → the same material I teach from.

Math resources

Resources for the math courses I've taught:

• MTH1W → Grade 9 Math (Destreamed)
• MPM2D → Grade 10 Math (Academic)
• MEL3E → Grade 11 Math for Everyday Life

These are the folders from the previous version of this site → they're still live, and linked here until they're rebuilt in the new design.

Lesson directory

A longer-term project: a master list of lessons so students can self-teach any topic, and other teachers can find resources. Version 0.1 is here.
